Content control

You decide what fans see before they pay.

A trailer or not, your own thumbnail or a blurred preview, download or view-only, listed or unlisted. You set it per product, and Fangate's servers enforce it. The page a fan opens never has more than you allowed.

Before the purchase

Tease without giving it away

Fans need a reason to buy, not a free copy. Three tools decide what the checkout shows.

Optional trailer

Add a short clip in the content editor. It is checked by moderation before it goes public, and fans confirm they are 18 or older before it plays.

Blurred preview, made on the server

Without a trailer, fans see a blurred preview that Fangate renders itself. The clear file is never sent to the page before payment, so there is nothing to un-blur.

Your own thumbnail

Upload a dedicated cover image for Explore and the checkout. 1600 × 1000 px fits best. It is moderated like every public preview.

Safe link previews

When your link is pasted into a messenger or social app, the preview card shows a blurred image with a lock, not your content.

What a fan sees before paying: the product, the price, a lock.

After the purchase

Download or view-only, per product

Some content is fine to keep, some you would rather not see on a hard drive. One switch, “Allow download”, decides.

Download on

  • Buyers get the original file, exactly as you uploaded it
  • Short-lived download links, with a cap on repeat downloads
  • Links arrive by email as a backup

View-only

  • Playback in the browser, no download button
  • Links that expire and a weekly limit per file
  • Videos are converted once so they play smoothly everywhere

Change a price later and the same link sells at the new price. Everyone who already bought keeps the access they paid for.

Visibility

Listed or unlisted, your call

Every product has one publishing switch: “Add to Collection / Explore”.

In your Collection

The product shows on your creator page and can be discovered on Explore, where new buyers browse.

Not in your Collection

The product stays off your page and off Explore. It never appears in browsing, suggestions or partial search matches.

Still reachable when you want

An unlisted product sells through its link, and can be found by its exact product ID, full title or full description. Ideal for drops meant only for your own audience.

Safety

Age checks and reports, built in

Age checks where the law asks for them

For adult content, Fangate runs an age check automatically for buyers in regions that require one. You can also force it for every buyer of a product.

A report button fans can use

Fans can report a preview or a purchase. Reports go to Fangate's moderation team, so problems are handled without landing in your inbox.

Good to know

Can I hide a product from Explore but keep selling it?

Yes. Leave it out of your Collection and it disappears from your creator page and from Explore, while its sales link keeps working. People find it only through the link itself or by searching its exact product ID, full title or full description.

Do I have to add a trailer?

No. Trailers are optional. Without one, fans see your own thumbnail or the blurred preview Fangate generates for you.

What is the difference between download and view-only?

With “Allow download” switched on, buyers get the original file. With it off, they watch in the browser through links that expire, with a limit on how often a file can be opened. You choose per product.

Can fans screenshot or record my content?

No website can stop a screen recorder, and we will not pretend otherwise. What Fangate does is keep the clear file away from anyone who has not paid, and make copying harder after the purchase with view-only streaming, expiring links and access limits.

If I change the price, do earlier buyers lose access?

No. The price changes on the same link, and everyone who already bought keeps their access.

When does the age check run?

Automatically wherever local law requires it for adult content. You can also force it for every buyer of a product, which is stricter but can cost you sales.

Share your content, not your files.

Upload once, choose what fans see, and let the link do the selling.
