Telegram is where a lot of you already talk to fans, run channels and close custom requests. Until now, selling there meant leaving the chat: open the dashboard, copy a link, paste it back, hope the fan taps it. That detour is gone. Fangate now lives inside Telegram as a Mini App, and the whole sale, from sharing to payment, happens in the conversation.
60 seconds: connect, share, re-price, create, checkout.
What you can do now
- Share any product from any chat. Type
@Fngatebotand a space in a DM, a group or a channel. Your product list appears above the keyboard. Scroll, or search by title or product ID, then tap. Telegram posts an unlock card with your blurred preview, the title, the price and an Unlock now button. Only your own products show up. - Change a price with one line. Type
@Fngatebot 5903 25and product 5903 costs $25 the moment the list appears. No menu, no dialog. This is built for DMs where the price is part of the conversation. - Create products without the dashboard. The button above the list opens the Mini App. Pick photos and videos from your vault, or add fresh ones straight from your phone, give the product a title and a price, and the finished card lands in the chat you came from.
- Build bundles. Select several files, set one price, share one card. The bundle is a regular Fangate product, so it also shows up in your dashboard and can be shared again anywhere.
- Edit on the go. Change a title or a price in the Mini App and the updated card is ready to send.
Create a product from your vault: pick the file, set title and price, “Send to this chat”.
Edit product: change the title or the price, save, and the updated card is ready in the chat.
What your fans get
They tap Unlock now. The checkout opens as a Mini App inside Telegram, with credit card, PayPal and crypto (at a discount) as payment options and discreet billing. After payment the content unlocks immediately. No Fangate account is needed. Fans who want to keep their purchases across devices can connect a Fangate vault, but that is optional.
That removes every step where a sale used to die: no app switch, no browser tab, no sign-up form between “I want this” and “paid”.
From the creator's tap to the fan's checkout, in one take.
Same safety, same wallet
The Mini App does not bend any of the rules that protect you on the web:
- Fans only ever see a blurred preview before paying. The clear file never enters the chat.
- Products that are still in review or that lack the required consent records are not offered in the picker.
- The minimum price is the same as everywhere on Fangate: $5. Typed price changes below that are ignored.
- Every Telegram sale is a normal Fangate sale. It shows up in your analytics, your wallet and your payouts like any other unlock, with the same fee and no extra subscription.
Add from phone: declare real or AI content and who appears, then the content check runs before the file can be sold.
How to set it up (two minutes)
- On your phone, open your Fangate dashboard and go to Settings → Telegram.
- Tap Connect Telegram. Telegram opens the
@Fngatebotchat. Press Start and your account is linked. - Go to any chat, type
@Fngatebotand a space, and tap a product.
Connected the wrong Telegram account? Send /disconnect to the bot from that account or disconnect in the dashboard, then connect again from the right phone.
A few tips from the first days
- Photos and short clips upload well from the phone. For long videos use the dashboard uploader or the cloud import, then share them from Telegram like any other product.
- Channels work as a catalogue. Post a teaser, add the unlock card underneath. The price stays with the message.
- Use the typed price change for customs. Agree a price in the DM, type the product ID and the price, send the card. Done.
Bot name, product ID, price. The inline row shows your price and what the fan pays before you send it; anything below $5 is ignored.
Nine short walkthroughs, one per function, are on the Telegram Mini App page: sharing and unlocking, creating from the vault, adding from the phone, editing, re-pricing by text, the AI bot and the one-time connection. The FAQ answers them one by one with the same clips. If you are new to selling on Telegram, the Telegram selling guide covers channels, groups and DMs in depth.
